Furuno recently developed Rezboost Technology. Rezboost is a revolutionary signal processing technology that drastically improves target seperation and resolution using your normal conventional narrowband transducers. In other words it will show you targets or fish which would normally be missed on your echo sounder, especially fish that are close to the seabed as often times an echo sounder will process this signal as part of the seabed, i.e rock etc. Rezboost you get a much clearer crisper picture, up to 8 times clearer. We have found radical improvements in soundings using the Rezboost function compared to normal soundings without Rezboost.
You can see in the comparison above how with Rezboost activated the targets are clearly more exposed on the seabed. Fish you would normally miss.
